PMA/TOOLS – We are committed
It is not only sustainable action that is close to our hearts. As a company, we are also aware of our social responsibility. Whether in our region or further away – we get involved where help is really needed and used responsibly. In doing so, it is important to us to support the institutions directly and immediately with donations in kind or money.
2023
Kinderhelfer mit Herz e.V.
Our donation in 2023 went to the Kinderhelfer mit Herz e.V. association, which provides basic care to children living in poverty in North Rhine-Westphalia. We support the association’s effort to ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn and grow up with a smile on their face, happily and without obstacles.

Christmas gifts campaign
Packing parcels for the Tafel Willich e.V. has become an integral part of the pre-Christmas season. So we also collected food donations in 2023. We were able to hand over numerous boxes filled with non-perishable food and bring a little joy to some people.

Brillen Weltweit
We also set up a glasses collection box from Brillen Weltweit, where our employees could contribute their old, no longer needed glasses. These benefit people in need of visual aid all over the world. An added bonus: the glasses do not end up in the rubbish bin.

Squirrel Conservation Station in Eckernförde
This year, we are directing a part of our donation to the Squirrel Conservation Station in Eckernförde, a project of Wildtierhilfe. Squirrels are cared for with voluntary commitment and a lot of know-how. Foundlings and impaired squirrels are helped and then released back into the wild.

Kleintierhilfe e.V. in Marl
The other part of our donation this year also benefited small animals. Kleintierhilfe e.V. in Marl is dedicated to the rescue and protection of small animals in need of help on a voluntary basis and they also offer training events.

Christmas gifts campaign
This year brought financial challenges for many people. Therefore, we wanted to collect donations for the Tafel Willich e. V. together with our employees in 2022. Several food packages could be collected, making a contribution on site. Filled with non-perishable food, they are distributed at Christmas time to people who visit the Tafel.

Donations for Ukraine
We are all touched by the war in Ukraine and the desperate situation of the people. A partner company in Myslinka (Czech Republic) is directly affected. The Ukrainian employees working there were able to let family members join them in their accommodation.
A campaign was started here to collect essential items to provide extra support. As a result, 5 pallets full of donations were sent.

Oak trees for a forest in Essen
As part of our Advent calendar, we gave one day a special green motto and donated a tree for every online order placed that day. The oak trees were donated to the Stiftung Unternehmen Wald for a reforestation project in Essen.

24 good deeds
The purchase of the Advent calendar 24 GUTE TATEN (24 good deeds) provides financial support to organisations that engage for social equity and environmental protection worldwide. With this calendar campaign, we wanted to raise our employees’ awareness for global challenges and a stronger social involvement.

Christmas gifts campaign
In view of the Corona crisis, which is challenging all of us, we wanted to support people in need very close to us.
With the help of our team, we supported the Willicher Tafel with food packages. Currently, the Tafel Willich supplies about 1,250 people, including about 450 children.

Elterninitiative Krebshilfe e.V.
One of our Christmas donations 2021 went to Elterninitiative Kinderkrebsklinik e. V., a foundation that supports children who suffer from cancer and chronic illnesses at Düsseldorf University Hospital in many ways.

Kuno e.V.
A further donation was made in 2021 to the association Kuno e. V., which provides help and basic necessities to needy people in the city of Düsseldorf.

Help for the homeless
2020 we donated to the “franzfreunde”, a social welfare institution that provides help to the homeless people in Düsseldorf,
who have been especially affected by the Corona pandemic. The donation was used to buy care packages, sleeping bags and similar things especially for those who were still outside.

Christmas gifts campaign
Our employees were called to pack Christmas parcels for the Willicher Tafel e. V. filled with non-perishable food, that does not need to be refrigerated. Those packages were picked up by employees of the Willicher Tafel. With this donation, people visiting the Tafel are given a small but important financial margin for the purchase of other necessities or activities, which would otherwise not be possible.

Donation of cloth masks
Under the motto „Mask on – they have a greater effect when we all wear them“ we decided to donate 650 re-usable mouth/nose masks to the Caritas, the Tafel, a kindergarten and an elementary school. The institutions appreciated the donation.
2019
Support for girls and young women
In 2019, we again dispensed with Christmas presents and donated to the association Freundeskreis TrebeCafé Düsseldorf e. V. instead, a place for girls and young women who live on the streets and need support.
2018
A Café of the special ART
Instead of Christmas presents, we donated in 2018 amongst others, to the association Kunstcafé EinBlick e.V., which supports the promotion and integration of people with handicaps.

Help for children in Romania
A further Christmas donation in 2018 went to the children’s charity organisation Kleine Löwen in Rumänien e.V., which helps children in the poorest sections of the population in Romania. The donation was used to buy Santa Claus parcels and food packages for the families.
